With the recent results of the 2016 General Election, the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) has released a new info graphic illustrating the growing representation of Asian Pacific Americans (APA) in elected office.

Our info graphic provides key demographic information including gender, ethnicity, and political party breakdown of the APA candidates newly elected and re-elected into office for the 2016 General Election cycle. There were 145 APA leaders total elected to federal, state, and local offices across the United States and Pacific Islands.
